Ja, das habe ich auch gesehen, aber leider nie fotografisch festgehalten. Ich fragte mich aber, wie es dazu kam, dass sie sowas machen.

Ich kann nur vermuten, dass das mit dem Andenken an die Taino-Indianer zusammenhängt?

Well observed Berny..................The "totem pole" is very unusual and nicely decorated. I like the way it breaks the symmetry of the building.

The blue surroundings of the doors is beautiful and I like the ornate ironwork. The light and shadow show along the bottom is my favourit bit of the image!
