I can't remember if I've asked you before, how do you digitize these magazine ads? Do you photograph them? Or do you have a large scale scanner? If so, what one is it? They are way too big for any scanner I've been around. I have some old Holiday magazines that I would like to digitize part of.

It's a standard-sized scanner. So I scan an oversized page like this in two parts. Then I splice them together using Photoshop.

(If you end up wanting any tips for merging the halves in Photoshop, let me know. My guess is that an expert can still spot the splices but most of us dabblers probably can't.)
