Our teacher told us Pippa was a little girl during Industrial Revolution was on, she had to work 364 days in a year, 12 or more hours per day. There is one day off in a year, and that day Pippa got up early and saw and sang this song.
I wearched for information on this poem, I could not find the information in World Wide Web, and could not what my teacher told me about half a century back.!
