Polacy tubylcy ;-)
What means: for me who never has been in Poland, this animals, endles woods and thousands of lakes the first coming in my mind when thinking of you country.
An almost archaic picture with a very fitting editing.

I remember endless woods and lakes from the times when I was a child :) And I remember seeing mystical bisons in the Białowieża Forest - a small herd of them, just after they had started to be reintroduced to the ecosystem. You know, they were almost extinct then. Now about one thousand of this magnificent animals wander freely around our country. A small number is kept in animal parks and corrals, for people to actually see and admire them :)

This archaic / vintage look comes from the fact that I awfully overexposed the shot (and three others). I could not restore what was not in it (the sky!) so I 'bleached' it a little more (Nik Color Efex helped).

Schitterende opname,van deze Wisent, Maria. Ik ben blij dat deze prachtige dieren weer in de natuur lopen, zo is er ook in Nederland een piloot-project om deze dieren weer in de natuur te laten grazen.

Yes, I know about the Netherlands project :) Wiki says that there are 42 wisents there (end of 2017) - let's hope that the population increases :)
