What is the ruling grade and the tender leading speed limit on the GCR?
At DownsSteam running on Queensland Rails track we have 1/50 uncompensated and 25Km/h.

Oh, and its a good shot of train in the landscape Pete.

Loose_Grip/Pete replied to GrahamH:

Thanks Graham. The GCR was built as a main line with gentle gradients. The ruling gradient is only I in 176. Our speed is the same tender or smokebox-first, 25mph.
