Varen - Fern

The Sunday Challenge: bloemen of planten in scheuren en gaten

The Sunday Challenge: flowers or plants in cracks and holes
Ferns and a garden plant growing in cracks en holes in the quay wall of the Kattenburgergracht. In the water there is a canoe and some floating willow leaves. I removed some of the colour in these leaves. Seeing it afterward I would have chosen for a little bigger field of depth as the ferns are growing on different heights.

Saw this yesterday on small images already, and wondered if you had tossed some leaves in the air...

Ferns will grow in any crack as long there's moisture!

These little ferns will survive quite a bit of dry weather. We have them growing on our garden wall here.

Well Done - like the flying leaves for their interest! Always think, "Way to go go little plant"! When I see growth conquering man's attemp to cover the earth in concret. :)
