Grass trees and regrowth

The foreground plants are Grass Trees, which produce these long cylindrical flower stems. There are several species, under the botanical grouping of Xanthorrhoea, but I did not look closely enough to tell which these are. This area was burnt in the late 2019-early 2020 fires, but Grass Trees recover faster than most species.

These are very interesting plants, George. And it's good to see some signs that the vegetable life is recovering in these areas, The contrast with the scarred and burned trees is really strong in this image, it really tells the story of these woodlands.
