Washoe Lake

After having been (over)filled by the good winters, the lake has dropped about 5 ft (1.5 m) over the summer. These are willows that were drowned by the high lake level. Looking south; the inset shows a view farther north along the beach, highlighting the good reflections. Washoe Lake State Park, Nevada. It's nice having this area a couple of miles from my house! ;)

Thanks again, everyone! It's nice to have a lake again. It had dried up completely during the drought in the early 10s.
