Mum's Plant

Not sure what the real name is of this plant but here it's known as 'Mum's plant', as I dug it up from her garden after she died and took it with me whenever I moved house. We thought it had died a couple of years back, but it's resurrected itself and is now firing on all cylinders.

another in notes.

It's a pieris, I think, I had a couple here but they don't seem to like my alkaline soil and wither and die after a few years , which is a great shame, but this is a lovely image, shows the colours off a treat, like shot from a plant catalogue . . .

It's gorgeous, and definitely Sami's advice should be taken and see it on black. And a lovely story to go with it
