That's better. No telly in that pub then?

Howard Somerville replied to Isisbridge:

Yes, but I don't do aerial photography.

Oh dear, that won't suit John. He likes pictures "as seen" with "imperfections and all that makes a proper picture, not a manufactured one". What about the sky?

The sort of pub and place I wish I'd known when I had the opportunity, had the energy, but lacked any kind of willpower. When I ended up in Spain, this is the kind of atmosphere, and in my memories, that led to homesickness more than anything else. Pretty much cured of that now but still ... !
Anyway, ramble over - a superb shot of this amazing edifice with its pleasing form and wonderful stonework!

Howard Somerville replied to Andy Rodker:

Yes, and the house was free. If I could have fitted it in the car, I would have taken it home with me.

Howard Somerville replied to Andy Rodker:

The ramble WAS over. Having make an unnecessarily early start and walked (route-marched) round the 10-mile circuit, we got back to Pluckley before 3 and found ourselves kicking our heels around here waiting for the next train back.
