I live and learn! I had no idea there was a River Stort, let alone that it is navigable! But then again Í've only been to Harlow once, at night and long ago!!!!
An excellent composition witn superb late summer colour. The hawthorn berries add a nice touch!

Yes, the winding Stort Valley and Navigation makes an interesing walk from Hoddesden to Bishop's Stortford. Sawbridgeworth (mid way) has a wealth of interesting olde buildings and pubs.
