Freeze-Frame

This week in SSC:

"Frame within a Frame in Black and White"

I hope you don't mind seeing my fridge. :)) I've been wanting to take a shot of the fairy lights reflected in it for a while now so this turned out to be a good opportunity.

...and for Sight and Sound

The J. Geils Band from their album "Freeze-Frame" (1981)

Wow, I really like how the steel door reflects the light! A very different idea for the challenge, well executed, Karen!

A beautifully detailed shot that works great in mono, Karen. An ace result for the challenge. And, loving the inspired musical match :-)

Thank you for posting to Sight and Sound : Pictures & Music

I like to see that, Karen.
It is a wonderful motif and very beautifully realized for our theme.

There are so many fascinating things right in our homes that often get overlooked as photo subjects. I like that you photographed your refrigerator and captured the unique patterns reflected in the stainless steel (?) of it's surface.

So true. Thanks, Kenny. With a macro lens you might never have to leave home. ;-)
