Thank you Isabel! I´m not catholic either and not particular fond of any type of religion since they have brought and are still bringing so much misery over the world. Nevertheless I do like some traditions and share them. I guess we´re not that far apart! ;-)

Maybe, in reality I am of jewish ascendance but raised without religion (you will do as you please when you become adult). Never could believe in any god...but I respect the fact that many have a belief. What I dislike is religions, of any kind, and agree with you about misery they bring to the world and people.
My only tradition is to light a candle every Friday night to honour my ancestors victims of the Catholic Holy Inquisition and relatives slaughtered by Nazis.
I have a stylish wooden tree with a star on top, 3 very ancient crystal Xmas globes I hang on a metal baobab tree...
