Ye' olde' pond.... Moss valley - South Sheffield.

No pleasant Spring foliage yet - or morning frost to enhance this rather bleak snap of Ye' olde' pond along the 'Moss valley' once busy with thriving water powered mills producing scythes and saw blades - a railway and collieries.

Even without the spring foliage or winter frost, this is a very pleasant scene. The light is beautiful and there are some nice reflections on the water. There's also an interesting fallen tree in the pond and a lovely fence/gate, which will make good focal points for future visits.

I hope we'll see more of this location in due course.
