'Ladybower dam' the two outflow spillways from the localy named.. 'plugholes'

A view south of ''The tailbay'' from atop the dams' earth enbankment .. down the river Derwent... the buildings to left and right are the East and West pumping stations.. which are the outlets for the two overspill 'plugholes'.

Ha' ha'.. yes good question 'polytropos'... there is a stream which supplies the dam named 'Ladybower' brook.. so the name could come from way back in history.
