Pucisca is a settlement and port of the island of Brac. The place is known for its stonemason tradition, the stone from nearby quarries was incorporated into the White House building in Washington.
After a long day on the ship and in the saddle of the bicycle, view from our floating hotel to the church of St. Jerome.
The parish church of St. Jerome was built in 1566 and is today an important sacral monument of the village. The church has been extended in the course of time, in baroque style.
she was rehabilitated. On the altar there is a wooden relief of the patron saint of Pučišća, St. Jerome, made of olive wood. The treasury of this church preserves many valuable sacral objects and the most beautiful church vestments, as well as the invaluable document "Povaljska listina".
