End of the Road

It was almost the end of the road for the person who thought it was a good idea to take a mobility scooter onto the beach in Burnham-on-Sea. Picture in PiP. Luckily she was spotted by the lifeguard patrol and soon rescued.

There are many signs telling of the dangers of the sea at low tide. Check the tide times. Red flags displayed on Burnham-on-Sea's main beach mean that it is unsafe to enter the sea.

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Günter Klaus:

It could have Günter. It is quite a dangerous beach with sinking sand and mud when the tide is out. There are enough warnings. The beach runs along the mouth of the River Parrett. It's a great place as long as people take note of the dangers.

Thank you so much for your kind comments and I wish you a good Wednesday, Rosa.

Even walking near the tide line at Burnham can be risky, and I find it incredible anyone would take a mobility scooter to the beach, especially with all the warning signs that are in place,
However, nice reporting and superb pair of images Rosa

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Roger (Grisly):

You are right Roger there are a lot of signs and red flags. They even make announcements about the tide. It was very close but windy yesterday, but Sophie had a great time and we had a good lunch. Thank you for your kind comments.
