Sturminster Newton High Street.

Although I have shown pictures of the cottages and well know, Mill on the River Stour, I don't think I have ever shown Sturminster Newton's High Street, so here it is. The PiP is of a very good cafe/restaurant that I have often used, but it seems they close on Mondays. Thankfully there are several more to choose from.

I love the perspective, Rosa. You have taken the photograph from a very effective angle. The variety of styles of the buildings is quite amazing. Cheers, Joe

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Joe, Son of the Rock:

Thank you very much Joe. I would think each building is from a different century! The old Lloyd's Bank building is now a very interesting Emporium. I wish I had more time to look around it...but I will be back! Cheers, Rosa.

Buen jueves, Rosa.

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to José Manuel Polo:

Thank you very much Jose Manuel. As I mentioned to Joe, I think each building is from a different century! As you walk further down the street the buildings become very much older with thatched roofs and there is remains of a very early market cross.
Happy Thursday.
