Daffodils

Daffodils in the garden, perking up after the wind and rain. They seem to survive very well. They were swaying slightly so not as sharp as I would have liked.

This beautiful photo reminds me of Wordsworth's poem we had to learn in high school !!!!!!
(I cursed daffodils for a long time because I didn't like learning poems)******
Have a nice sunday evening********

It's a poem that we are all familiar with Nouchet.

Lovely to see, Rosa. I don't recall seeing them here (other than wild dwarf varieties in the mountains) so a vicarious pleasure for me! Many thanks!

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Andy Rodker:

I have a lot of the dwarf variety Andy and they flower much later, usually the same time as the tulips. Hope you have a good new week.

They are lovely. They were not a favourite of mine but I have come to appreciate them more in my old age. I'll have to wait a while for them to flower here.

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Jean:

Thank you Jean. I think that does happen. I seem to appreciate them much more in later years :) I love all the different varieties. I have some of the dwarf variety but they flower much later, with the tulips.

Spring must have sprung, Rosa. I love the shallow depth of field, that makes the daffodils pop from the background. Cheers, Joe

Looking good, it sounds familiar trying to get a shot when the wind drops for a second, I have got a few tete-a-tete showing colour but they are only a couple of inches high

Bien despegadas del fondo y bonito contraste de amarillo con el verde. El viento no ayuda en las fotos de flores.
