Superb light and terrific composition Rosa large revels wonderful detail in grasses, I assume this is yet another cruise ship moored offshore as this coast especially Tobay and around Weymouth is littered with them.

Thank you very much Roger. I counted 10 cruise ships. I was wondering who was on them? Are all the crew still there? I can't see cruising coming back any time soon!.

Yes laid up cruise liners, who wants one of those at the moment? I see that they are scrapping some eight year old liners now. Nic shot Rosa

This is stunning Rosa! The light is really beautiful, especially where it's reflected on the surface of the sea. It looks wonderfully calm out there and I like the cruise ships anchored in the distance.

The earthy colours in the landscape are wonderful, as is the detail........especially when viewed large on black. It's good to see the people in the shot for scale. Fantastic work!

This is a fantastic composition, Rosa. The light and shadow on the grassy cliff adds a great sense of three dimensionality. The cruise ships add excellent focal points on the horizon. Triangular shapes really enhance the composition of a photograph. The cliff and the water are (approximate) triangles that look excellent in juxtaposition. The prickly bushes in the bottom left corner form a triangle of their own. All this beneath a very dramatic sky makes this a great image. Cheers, Joe
