A trip to Weymouth with Sophie and Luna yesterday. Although the sandy town beach (PiP) was not too crowded, we decided to make our way to the quiet cove at the foot of Nothe Fort.
The road from Yeovil to Weymouth was very quiet and the views along it are just so beautiful! However...it took an hour to get out of the car park! I don't know even now what the problem was. I should have parked at the nature reserve instead of behind the Pavilion!! Never mind, we had a fabulous day :-))
Superbes moments saisis et mémorisés...Un vrai plaisir de se défouler a la plage, interdit encore chez nous pour l'instant.... Bonne et heureuse journée.
A lovely peaceful and scene Rosa, good to know it's not over busy we went to Porlock Weir last evening and it was packed, car parks were full and people everywhere.
Super, voilà qui est réconfortant... chacun se respecte et c'est encourageant, la journée pour se défouler un peu avec ce temps idyllique, deux belles images estivales, bravo Rosa.++++++++++++
Two lovely images Rosa..............the sandy beach looks lovely in the sunshine and not too busy. I'm a fan of pebble beaches myself, so I think you made a good decision to go to that one. Sophie and the dog look quite happy to have paddle in the sea (which looks lovely and clear and clean) - did you go in as well. My wife likes to paddle on sandy beaches - she says its good for her feet!
Good to hear you had a lovely day out with Sophie. Our daughter Cara and the grandchildren are coming to stay with us for a few days next week. We can't wait as we haven't seen them since Xmas! We decided to get a visit in before we get a second spike of the virus.
Today we had a short walk along the Chichester Ship Canal. Very hot, but there was a gentle breeze, so it was bearable.
