Another Oldie!

I remember that this car of my father's was dark green and the first part of the number plate was COW--- which was often commented on or pointed at, being the only green COW on four wheels in Dorset! I don't remember the make of the car though...can you help? It was probably quite old when my father bought it! Left to right: Raymond, Terry, me.

It may be a Morris 8 Series E. Thank you George.

I love the pics, Rosa, but, unfortunately, car identification is not my strongpoint. Cheers, Joe

A lovely and precious photo! Your youngest brother seems ready to jump up and run away whereas you older ones are well behaved:-)

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Gudrun:

Yes very precious Gudrun. The youngest brother was always the quietest...that seems to have changed ;-))

Thank you Keith. Yes precious memories. I asked my eldest brother if he could name the car, but he doesn't even remember it! Hope you're enjoying this lovely sunny day :-))

A lovely old family photo, Rosa. I'd put the car as a Morris 8 Series E of about 1938.

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to tiabunna:

Thank you George. I know it was quite old when my father bought it. His first car was an Austin Ruby and that was pretty old too! Years later he wished he still had it :)
