Very interesting, Rosa, there is very little difference in the buildings over the years.

I love these Now and then shots, here the war memorial has been added and the housing estate on the hill behind but little else has changed, You positioned yourself well for this shot.

Fascinating to see the very small changes as well as all the similarities.

Lovely postcards, but I note in your photos that some ancient corners still survives !

The biggest change is the development in the background, but why when they occupy an old building can't Euronics have a nice painted sign instead of the bog standard plastic tat, the council don't help with that huge road sign it not a motorway

Nice comparison Rosa, great to still be able to have the chance. I agree with Peter regarding the imposition of modern 'corporate' shop signs and highways signage!
