Nice to see visitors, Rosa, even in wet weather. Nice view of the Bristol Cross. If I remember correctly the Church is on the left? ... Lovely photo, the PiP is interesting too. YS... John.
Yes the church is to the left John. Years ago you could walk around freely in the winter, but not now with their shop and cafe at the top of the hill. They do get lots of visitors all year round. Thank you for your kind YS....Rosa.
A familiar sight for me Rosa although it has been a couple of years or more since I last visited. Sorry it was such a damp day for you. I like the Landi :~)
They have shuttle buses now taking people between the gardens and the house...not that I am suggesting you'll need it ;-)) It looks damp but it didn't actually rain when I was there Nick. I quite like the Landi too :))
Ha ha...not mine Tanja. I did work here for two years though, but they didn't give me a car :(
I am sure when it was still a Post Office, they had a pillar box at the front.
I'm sure the gardeners need a car, the park is vast:-) I remember from my only visit that the last bit uphill was a bit of a slog. Pity about the Post Office...
