I bet you really enjoyed your week away, dear Nick. We were planning on going to Scotland this month, but since the dramatic rise in the infection rate we have decided against it. Seeing the piper playing outside the Dundee V&A last night on the Proms, reduced me to tears.

Nick Weall replied to Amelia:

Hi dear LGM we had a good time of not doing very much and avoding tcontact. So it was mostly walking or reading. We got back yesterday evening in time to watch the high lights of qualifying. I had forgetten that it was the last night if the Proms. I'd watched Beethoven's seventh a couple of evenings ago which helped to remind me of the times that I have visited the Albert Hall over the years, including one last night of the Proms. I think that you have made a good decision..

What a lovely picture of the ponies and distant coastline Nick.
We were hoping to go to either Devon or Cornwall in early October, but I am holding back at the moment. Sounds like you had a great time.
All the best ~ Rosa.

Nick Weall replied to Rosalyn Hilborne:

I prefer Cornwall in early October Rosa, as there are not usually so many holiday makers about and the lanes free flowing. The weather is often good too. Difficult times for us all now though ~ I do hope that you find the opportunty. We enjoyed a good week thanks but kept ourselves to ourselves ~~~
