What a great shot, Nick! It reminds me on the year 1972 when I saw the Red Arrows at a flying show. I've still a photo when they flew the "Formation Diamond Nine". At this show we saw some Lightinings, too! They've made a terrible noise!!!

WOW WOW Dear Nick!! An awesome photo you have for us here!! The Red and Blue are so dramatic together.... your luck here was spot on!! I watched the above entire youtube offering! Awesome! I just wish it had been in English.... through the years we took our sons to air shows and came away always in awe of the precision and timings on these shows. thanks Nick!!

Best wishes with a hug , Sarah

Brilliant. It's a shame that you don't get out so much with the Nikon D700. I know the feeling. My Canon 60D is now a bit heavy for me. ;-)

Nick Weall replied to Amelia:

I quite agree dear LGM. I used the D700 in Gosport last week and I have to confess that I'd forgotten how to use it properly. We obviously need so helpers ~ I think a little red head would be very useful and keep me focused ~~~~~~
