I'm so pleased, although not surprised, that you mad your way down to Portsmouth today. We have been watching it on the BBC for 7 - 8 p.m., and now on the main news. What a day full of memories for the few that are left.

I had hoped you would be there Nick and show some pic's of the day. A great event and like Amelia, I was watching a lot of it on TV. It was quite clear that the veterans have never forgotten their lost comrades. I have to admit to shedding a few tears. There were not many families back then who had not lost someone in the war, including my own. Have you been watching The Blitz: Britain on Fire, on CH5?

Nick Weall replied to Rosalyn Hilborne:

Hi dear Rosa ~ Thank you we will remember them and I'm sorry that you lost relatives. I have not yet watched any of the Blitz series yet, hopefully I can play catch up soon ~~~~
