No I would not dear LGM, there is a lock keepers cottage up for sale just to the left of shot up by the lock and attractive as that is I wouldn't consider buying that either. Too many insects for my liking but undeniably a great spot xxx

The houses look good and spacious but I'd be worried about flooding (and don't care for mosquitoes;-) HFF, Nick!

You are wise to be worried about flooding, I have seen the high level that these new houses are built on completely covered by water! and the bugs!

The story of our modern canals Nick -new houses appearing on or near the banks everywhere. As not having the pleasure of living in one of them, of course I resent them somewhat!!! (Isn't that human nature!)
