A great rainbow capture here. Not often that one is lucky enough to see and capture a whole rainbow from their bedroom window. Very well done. ~ Herb

What a wonderful sight from your bedroom window John! I love a rainbow, but rarely see one that I am able to take a picture of, as complete as this!!
Best wishes, Rosa.

Seven months later, and I echo that sentiment. I do hope that you are OK. give us a wave at the very least my friend.

Keep very safe. Herb

UPDATE: Today, I heard from my fellow Ipernity friend Rosa Hilbourne that sadly John has had to go into a care home, as he has onset Dementia. So unfortunately he is not likely to play such a big a part with us here in Ipernity as he normally does.

John, we wish you all the best that you may prevail and soon re-join us here.

Your Ipernity friend Herb and I think I can speak for your other Ipernity friends too.

Steve Paxton replied to Herb Riddle:

I have just found this I have been wondering just what happened, sadly we all get so busy we forget to follow up.

Having parents in the very same boat I know just what this means and the long term effects, I call this the biggest part of loosing ourselves from what and who we are.

I hope you are able to find solace in these latter years despite the Dementia and live out a better life.

you will be missed by me at least even though it seems you slipped through the cracks.

All The very best from the far west Down under. Your fellow photographer Steve.

Just to let Ipernity friends of John's know that his son sent me a message to say that he sadly passed away on 19th December.

Many of us remember him from Panoramio days and I was lucky enough to have met John at Stourhead some years ago and had a lovely wander around the gardens and a coffee or two and a chat.

RIP John.
