Peter, at first glance, I see a massive dinosaur taking a drink :)) Does anyone else see that? :)
What a fantastic place, seems private for the sunbathers there. or maybe sit back under the "dinosaur 's belly" over there in the shade. :)) you had a great POV Peter, well captured,,, a touch of purple in the corner and a massive blue sea!! Best wishes, Sarah

Hi Sarah ,
Thank you for visiting!
I am pleased you found it interesting, and such an imaginative analogy too.
The way down to the beach is by a path and steps sort of hidden behind the purple flowers. This was an evening shot. In the morning the beach is in the shade, and during the day the shadow of the dinosaur gets gradually smaller and smaller, until the whole beach enjoys the afternoon sun!
Of course the purple flowers are no accident...!

Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter

Peter_Private_Box replied to Erhard Bernstein:

Hi Erhard,

Thank you for such kind words. We must have been in about the same place to take the picture, but sadly the sun was not shining on you that day.
In fact I had walked here in the morning, and been somewhat disappointed with the pictures because the light was not so good, so when the sun came out in the evening I walked back again.
Best Wishes

The dragon that drinks from the sea Peter. What a very green pov you have found, we have a low level image hanging on a wall in our house. I was a child when I last saw this for real.
Thanks for the memory jogger ~ Enjoy your Sunday ~~~ Nick

Peter_Private_Box replied to Nick Weall:

Hi Nick

Thank you for your visit and thoughts. I did go down onto the beach, and have some pictures from there too, but I reckoned this one to be nicer.
I guess if you live close by, you could go here on a clear winter morning and catch the sunrise through the arch.. Why not give it a go Nick?

Best Wishes
Peter
