Hi Nick ,
Thank you for visiting!
I am so happy that you like the scene.
As I said in the sunset picture, I had wanted to photograph the moon in some kind of context, so I thought this windmill would work, as the moon would rise in about the right place. The previous night had been quite bright too, even though not a supermoon.
We have to try these things!!
Best Wishes, and a Good Week ahead,
Peter
Thank you so much for your very quick visit to this moonlight scene. Your kind comments and star make me very happy!
It was nice to share the rising of the moon with you!
It looked very red at first, then changed to a more normal colour. It was certainly very big!
Who knows what will happen with the next full Moon in May!
Only slightly later than www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/48503112 (and looking the opposite way). this is what I had gone out to try and capture. The night before had been very similar, so that persuaded me...
I am pleased you found it interesting.
What a lovely shot indeed Peter .. fantastic framing for sure .. i also noted the moon the night before but have yet to look at the standard pics i took last night
Peter a great shot one I would be proud of as well and rightly so well set up and very well executed. Have had too much cloud for any moon shot of later. I also want to try the 150-600 on the tracker in moon mode if I can get a chance tonight. I will keep this one .
