Another day another storm!

Low sun evening light, and I reckon we've had an average of two storms a day in the past 2.5 weeks. Highly unusual, especially in late Spring / early Summer. And yet they don't bring much, if any, of the prayed-for sustained heavy rain.
Perhaps better on large for countryside detail, even though the mountains are obscured by cloud.

Thank you Fred. This drought is an extenuation of last year's drought. They simply hasn't been anywhere enough rain in over a year!

We could give you some rain, Andy! We seem to be getting our share along with everyone else's.
Nothing is balanced weather-wise these days. It's a lovely view you have from your balcony!

An incredible view here Andy. Yes I could just make out the poppy fields - they are great too. We haven't had any rain for over 2 weeks now - it's amazing how sunny it's been. You shouldn't have left here when you did - you could have done some surfing or even some scrambling on Dartmoor in the sun.

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

I always get it wrong where weather is involved, Jenny. I think I've grown used to expecting it now! Yes, we are blessed with great views! Thank you!
