Old parish church and cemetary, St Day

Another low light shot. Possibly worth a close-up view.

Sight and sound. In the realms of popular culture / music, Hendrix has always been my favourite. Stevie Winwood starred here as well.

A lovely shot Andy, and fabulous music. No voodoo in the churchyard I hope?!!!

Andy Rodker replied to Ecobird:

Pleased you like the shot and the Hendrix link, Carol, thank you!
I know that both this type of low light shot and Hendrix aren't everyone's cup of tea!

A beautiful old chuch Andy........I especially like the high tower with the spires and weathervane. Lovely surrounding too.

You did well to get some decent definition in the grey clouds and I like the hint of pink.

Andy Rodker replied to Keith Burton:

Thank you Keith. Despite it being a roofless shell, it still commands the landscapes around here!
And I saw the touch of pink in the sky and hoped it would come through. I don't see it but am glad you do!

That's a beautiful church there Andy. I love the spires - and the design of the church is lovely, quite different from some old churches.

An impressive building, Andy !

Thank you Jenny and Ulrich!
As described on other shots of this ruined church, there is no roof (it fell in the 1950s) so it's just a shell of a building. It's still a notable and well-known landmark though!

A nice perspective still showing the top of the wall Andy.
I was lucky enough to see Jimi Hendrix in 1967 in Bournemouth,
along with Cat Stevens and The Walker Brothers. Thanks for the link.
