HFF everyone! Figs now ripe and delicious!

Same fig tree - looking towards the back of the house.
Simply irrestible! Sight and Sound, I haven't heard this in decades. Here it is now; www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrGw_cOgwa8

Brilliant. Does your fig tree produce the fruit before the leaves? I only ask because mine does!!! That looks a lovely house

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

Some varieties I had did that, they produced embryonic fruit at the end of the previous year and therefore took about 8-9 months to do their thing! Other varieties appeared more normally, as we would, perhaps erroniously, put it!
And yes, the house is on the large size and very nicely appointed inside and out, Jenny!
Many thanks!

Andy Rodker replied to Loose_Grip/Pete:

I think about 1/4 have already been snaffled (and queues have been forming outside the loo! - Mind you, not so much of a problem as there are 4 loos anyway!)
Thank you, Pete!

Andy Rodker replied to MaggsMep:

Indeed, Maggie ... I'm not supposed to have them (diabetes) but they're SO delicious that I admit to having had three to date. I will admit this to my endocrinologist when we next meet but she knows I'm usually a good boy so I'm sure she'll forgive me!

HFF, Andy. I hope your weekend is a good one and that it isn't spent on the loo after a fig-fest. All the best, mate.

Mine, in the centre-north of France, does not bear fruit. But it is only 4 years old :-) With the warming up I expect it to produce some in the next decade or so, no?
A very pretty capture with that perspective and those beautiful hues.
HFF Andy!
