Well, it's a typical urbanisation* of this part of Spain and it doesn't remind me of anything English at all, except for the wisteria! I have never even seen that colour brick used in Britain!!
* Urbanisation. For English-speaking members: There's no direct translation but it's a relatively new housing estate, often private and/or gated (ours was once but not now), characterized by detached homes with gardens (most Spaniards live in flats). They surround many cities here and even small villages within commuting distance.
