H. A. N. W. E. everbody!

A path near my new home. The path is incredibly steep (to give you an idea, look at how close the two lamp posts are in relation to each other). The steepest section is just out of sight, after the top four shallow steps. I don't dare use it in the wet or, even worse, in ice! (Railings not provided!).
The murk is not just twilight but in addition the sand cloud we get from the Sahara from time to time. The mountains should be visible on the horizon but they aren't due to the 'Calima' or sand cloud. You can actually taste the sand on your tongue!

I take the zig-zag road if I have a heavy trolley of shopping, and that's steep enough! If loaded in the other sense, I have the wisdom not to leave the house!!! :o)

I hope it has thinned out sufficently to be negligable by the time it reaches you, Josè Manuel!

Lovely half light and a great feeling of distance. I wouldn't be happy either with those steps in rain or ice.

Andy Rodker replied to Jean:

They look frighteningly steep even from the bottom, Jean and I'm not someone scared of heights. But climbing in my younger days gave me an acute appreciation of risk and I would personally campaign for a railing to be constructed, at the very least!!
