Quay Street, Penzance

Two venerable pubs on the right, the nearest one is the Dock Inn and the one with seating outside is The Dolphin. I have spent many a happy time in both over the years!
St Michael's Mount is in the distance.

What a great picture - I don't think I've stopped in Penzance, so this is super for me to see it.

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

Thank you, Jenny. Penzance isn't chocolate box pretty, all the better for that, imho!

It does look quite southern ... maybe Portugal or so ... ;-)

It looks lovely there Andy................not too touristy! If I ever get to Penzance I'll be sure to try them out. I'll tell them you sent me :-))

Andy Rodker replied to Keith Burton:

Ha Ha, Keith! Apart from one fish and chips lunch in the Dolphin on the day I took this shot (with my Spanish lot - girlfriend and my sister and her very Spanish family), I haven't drunk in either of them since the 80s! But when I did, I was a 'regular!' So I would have been known then!! (but not now!)
