Cistus in the Sierra de La Cabrera

An extremely hot mid-June day and the day when I forgot my sun hat and my sun cream. Coupled with the fact that I had had a haircut the day before and the tops of my ears were like pork scratchings. A lesson once learnt, never forgotten!

Andy Rodker replied to Peter Castell:

Thank you Peter. I used to grow different rock rose varieties in my various gardens but they were always short-lived (3-4 years) and never seemed happy. Here they are in their element of course!
