I have a soft spot for the town as my gran lived here for many years and I sometimes think of it as my spiritual Cornish home, just as much as the Zennor coast. The town has its issues, its problems, its chronic poverty. And it should have been grateful for the extensive EU help it received.... but no. ... I sign off ...in sadness ...
Thank you, Rosa.
Funnily enough I went to junior school here in 1967, Rosa but only for a few months before we upped sticks and went to London (work reasons - not me - my Dad!)
