Yes, plus factor 50 sun cream. I forgot on one hot Summer's day and the tops of my ears (especially them - I had not long had a haircut) resembled sun-dried tomatoes afterwards!

Same here! I was very surprised to find this!
Actually my boots did feature prominently at the bottom but looked so strange with the shadow that I just had to crop them!
