St Ives Harbour, low tide
I visit St Ives about once every five years - too touristy in August - but it is a delight out of season. Enlarge please!

First hubby and i considered buying an engine House up on the cliffs not far off... it was just a bit out of our pocket sadly.

Boats resting quietly, almost dreaming on their bed of low tide..
Enlarging it I could enjoy a lot of details against the lovely background!
A very attractive invitation to go there, I must say!
All the best!

I would like to take photos of the old fishermen's cottages in the labyrinthine back streets(now often art galleries) but in August it's impossible as the streets are thronged with day-trippers and it's shoulder to shoulder stuff. When I used to visit out of season (ie when I lived not far from here), I didn't have a camera!
Silly me!
