Hard to imagine this wooded, we are so used to the way the landscape looks now! I recently read that GB has only 10% wood cover as opposed to Spain or Germany with over 30%.

Most got taken for building projects. Many 18th and 19th century town expansions are paved with granite from places such as this!

Haha, beyond Ipernistan from the area where the Swabian housewife rules;-) In my part of Germany there are over 38% wood cover, but then we have the Black Forest...
