« le théâtre » date de la fin du XIXe siècle. Il aurait été inauguré en novembre 1896, deux années avant la venue de la fontaine monumentale Ain El Fouara. L’architecte serait un certain Fernand Imbert. D'une capacité théorique initialement prévue de 323 places..!
