Elle s’appelle Santhos. Elles est la mère de six enfants. Sous son sari, elle cache pudiquement de terribles brûlures. Un accident ? Pas du tout. C’est son mari qui ivre, un soir de dispute, a mis le feu à ses vêtements. La police est intervenue, mais son mari n’a pas été poursuivi. Il a juste promis qu’il ne recommencerait plus. Santhos, elle, a été hospitalisée de longs mois. Comme elle n’avait pas d’argent, c’est Action Bénarès qui a pris en charge les soins dont elle nécessitait.

It was her husband who was drunk one night in a fight and set her clothes on fire. The police intervened, but her husband was not prosecuted. He just promised he wouldn't come back. Santhos her, was hospitalized long months. Since she had no money, action Benares took care of the care she needed.
