SATURDAY SELF CHALLENGE

Thema : Something that makes my life easier

Reading is the best way to "escape" ! When I was blocked at home during my disease in 2019 and during the lockdown in 2020, books have been a great help to me to change my mind and forget all these problems. I have been a "reader" all along my life and a day without reading is a sad day for me.

I'm with you, Marie-claire. Cicero allegedly wrote: “Read at every wait; read at all hours; read within leisure; read in times of labor; read as one goes in; read as one goest out. The task of the educated mind is simply put: read to lead.” Although I have no idea whether he said/wrote this or not, it is certainly something to be followed.

These books do look pristine and unread, however, so put down your camera and get reading.

Have a lovely weekend.

I too read every single day. It takes me to another place when the rest of the world's problems are forgotten.

How good to hear someone who thinks as I do and reads as I do. A lovely image of something that makes life easier in every way. Books teach you how to live in this world and give you other worlds to explore, past, present and future.

Bon WE à toi Marie Claire.
