Of course, it is not comparable to the wild. Those responsible strive for species-appropriate animal husbandry. There are big houses with glass roofs for the winter. In winter, when it gets dark at 4:30 p.m., it is no longer ideal for taking photos. Good light for more aperture would certainly have been good.
