tiens, il a neigé dans l'Oregon. Rusty en est tout étonné. Recemment, Diane, j' évoquais, a la suite d'une de vos photos de Rusty, le feuilleton "Rintintin et Rusty" qui avait marqué mon enfance.Peu aprés j'ai lu un article consacré à ce feuilletoon sur mon programme de TV J'y ai appris que le 1er "Rintintin" avait été ramené tout jeune de France par Lee Duncan un vétéran de la guerre de 14/18. Ce Rintintin serait devenu une vedette à Hollywood. puis, il y a eu une "lignée" de Rintintins, plusieurs auraient interprété le rôle du chien soldat dans le célèbre feuilleton. Le Rintintin originel serait mort en 1932. Il a été inhumé au cimetierre des chiens d'Asnières sur seine (Prés de Paris) Le hasard de la vie veut que mon 1er travail a été prés de là. J'avais été voir ce cimetiere pour chiens et ne savais pas que Rintintin se trouvait là. La vie offre parfois de curieuses coîncidences. bien cordialement. Jean paul

That is so interesting, Jean Paul. I did not know the full history of Rin Tin Tin (I think that is how the name was presented on the TV show here. I am sure that my brothers know more about Rintintin than I do! I was the oldest, and of course being also a girl, I felt way too sophisticated (haha) to be watching those shows - nearly all of them made for boys.

That is why I became the big reader in those years. ;-b
