Le phare de Ploumanac’h dont le nom officiel est "Mean Ruz" est un bâtiment construit en granit rose haut de 15 m. Il indique l'entrée du chenal menant au port de la ville. Le premier phare date de 1860; détruit par les troupes allemandes en 1944, il a été remplacé en 1946 par le phare actuel. De nuit, il est repérable grâce à son feu rouge avec un secteur blanc visible.
A LIGHTHOUSE INTEGRATED INTO ITS NATURAL SETTING. The lighthouse of Ploumanac'h, whose official name is "Mean Ruz", is a 15 m high building built in pink granite. It indicates the entrance to the channel leading to the town's harbour. The first lighthouse dates from 1860; destroyed by German troops in 1944, it was replaced in 1946 by the present lighthouse. At night, it can be seen thanks to its red light with a visible white sector.
EIN LEUCHTTURM, DER IN SENE NATÜRLICHE UMGEBUNG INTEGRIERT IST. Der Leuchtturm von Ploumanac'h, dessen offizieller Name "Mean Ruz" lautet, ist ein 15 m hohes Gebäude aus rosa Granit. Er markiert die Einfahrt in den Kanal, der zum Hafen der Stadt führt. Der erste Leuchtturm stammt aus dem Jahr 1860. 1944 wurde er von den deutschen Truppen zerstört und 1946 durch den heutigen Leuchtturm ersetzt. Nachts ist er durch sein rotes Leuchtfeuer und einem sichtbaren weissen Bereich gut zu erkennen.
