The Scotland we know and love!

Another view of Ardvreck Castle on a day when the weather was just a bit murky. We have just completed another ‘Little Assynt’ walk and are on our way to the ‘Bone Caves’ which I hope to show your shortly. The water is Loch Assynt. pip

Herb Riddle replied to TOZ:

Thanks Gordon. Yes, I think this is the average weather up here in the west of Scotland. It did clear somewhat later when we got to the caves. Glad you liked it.

A beautiful misty, moody picture Herb. I have only been to Scotland once and that was to my youngest brothers wedding in Dundee! Wales is a lot closer for me, but I do intend to make it up there one day again :-)
Cheers, Rosa.

Herb Riddle replied to Rosalyn Hilborne:

Hi Rosa, Scotland just like any of the four countries making up GB has got its own characteristics. The north of course is more akin to Scandinavia than it is to your sort of countryside. Yes, you should visit. If not sure, i would recommend the Isle of Arran which is said to encompass all that scotland has to offer and I cannot really disagree there.

Certainly is Judite, we can expect William Wallace or Rob Roy with his men turning around the next corner here:)

Eine wunderschöne, fast gespenstische Szene, mit dem nahenden Regen, Herb.
Die Komposistion ist ausgezeichnet.
