Stripes on the Bens

Just after Kylemore Abbey in Connemara is the start of the twelve Pins (Twelve Bens) tour. A magical trip past lakes, loughs, hills and mountains. Here is one of our first glimpse of this wilderness. This looks like it could well be the back of Diamond Hill at 442m from Kylemore Lough.

Wow! I like the way you've used the "stripes" on the water to lead the eye into the shot. The hills are really lovely and I like the way they curve their way across the back of the loch. The sky is superb and tops off the photo beautifully. Excellent work Sir!

Hi Keith, the main thing that cought my eye with this was the light stripe across the hills. The wind blowing lines across the water in a similar direction was a bonus. Very happy that you liked this.
